Originally from Boyle, Co. Roscommon in Ireland, I graduated from Trinity College Dublin during one of the worst economic periods in the country’s history. With little-to-no job prospects at home, I hopped on a plane to NYC without knowing a single person in the big city.
It wasn’t long before I found my footing, beginning my career with an internship in social media at The Economist. Fast-forward a few years and I now specialize in managing online communities in the digital and social space.
For my next adventure, I’m engineering happiness for users of WordPress.com, part of the Automattic family. Automattic is a fully remote company… so you could find me anywhere!
